Problem

Traditional FinTech apps use stressful notifications, fluorescent colors and indecipherable charts that generate anxiety in high-spending clients.

Solution

A "zen" interface with serif typography, a paper/ink palette and a ledger laid out like the index of an art book. Silent luxury.

Result

A private banking concept that turns wealth management into a relaxing visual experience, like flipping through an art magazine.

01 — The Concept

A banking interface that conveys calm, luxury and silence.

LÉGER (from the French "light") is a digital boutique bank reserved for a high-spending creative clientele: architects, art directors, collectors, designers.

Opening your bank's app often triggers anxiety or cognitive overload. The interfaces are cold, full of useless data and indecipherable charts. The solution: a "zen" interface. Remove all the superfluous. Turn the visualization of financial data into a relaxing visual experience, like flipping through an art magazine printed on fine paper.

In 2026, most FinTech apps look like a video game full of fluorescent colors and stressful notifications. LÉGER is the answer: silent luxury, digital precision, analog soul.

Problem

Notification
Anxiety

Traditional financial apps are designed to keep you glued to the screen: push notifications, animated charts, fluorescent colors. For a creative mind, this is visual noise.

LÉGER removes everything that isn't needed. No stressful notifications, no indecipherable charts. Only the essential, presented with the elegance of an art book.

Goodbye to the fluorescent blues and greens of banks. LÉGER speaks the language of paper, ink and matter.

An elegant, timeless serif for the numbers that matter: the balance, the amounts, the totals. Transaction details use Space Mono, which evokes old typewriters and printed receipts. The contrast between the two creates a clear, relaxing visual hierarchy.

The Vault
Homepage

Extreme minimalism. A greeting, a balance, three essential actions. Nothing else.

At the top, the personal greeting: "Bonjour, Margy". At the center, enormous, the balance in figures: € 142.500,00 in italic serif type. Below, instead of the usual "Send/Receive" buttons, elegant terms: "Transfer", "Wealth", "Concierge". Every element is spaced with rigor, like a typographic composition on fine paper.

The balance is not a number: it's a typographic work. The homepage is not a dashboard: it's a magazine cover.

The Ledger
Index of Movements

A list of expenses laid out like a book's index. A tribute to analog printing.

Each row has the date on the left, the merchant name at the center and the amount on the right, joined by a dotted line. The classic dotted leaders of a book's index, applied to the world of financial transactions.

Readability is maximum. No icons, no colors, no pie charts. Only words and numbers, set with the discipline of an editorial art director.

Asset Portfolio
Alternative Investments

Not only equities. Fine Art, Real Estate, Vintage Watches. Capital diversification told like an art gallery.

The background chart is not a histogram: it's an ink wave traced on textured paper, rising and falling like a calligraphic mark. Portfolio data is shown with the clarity of a museum caption.

Each investment category is a section to explore, not a data point to decipher. Risk appetite becomes an aesthetic preference.

Engineering

Digital Precision

The app looks like a painting, but behind it is rigorous software engineering. Every component is built on an 8px grid system, ready for handoff to developers.

Figma Auto-Layout — Ledger Item
Frame "Ledger Item" {
  Auto Layout  /* Horizontal */
  Padding:  8px 0
  Gap:  12px
  Alignment:  Center
  Width:  Fill Container
}

Text "Date" {
  Width:  32px
  Style:  Space Mono / 9px / #AAA
}

Text "Name" {
  Width:  Fill  /* dots: after pseudo */
  Style:  Inter / 11px / #666
}

Text "Amount" {
  Width:  Hug Content
  Style:  Space Mono / 11px / #888
}

All measurements are multiples of 8px. Colors are defined in variables with semantic naming ($cream-bg, $ink-text, $gold-accent). Every component is a nested Auto-Layout frame, no exceptions.

The design system includes Light Mode and Dark Mode variants, hover/focus/pressed states, and a responsive grid that adapts from 320px to 1440px. Ready for React/Vue development with exportable design tokens.

"True luxury is not showing how much you have. It's the peace of mind of knowing you have enough."
